LA MAISON LAVANDE DE SAINT-EUSTACHE • MATERNITY PHOTO SESSION

I met Jennifer and Alex at the stunning Maison Lavande about an hour before sunset earlier this summer. They contacted us for maternity photos of their first born, and we could not have been more honoured to be their photographer.
MATERNITY PORTRAIT SESSION
As soon as we walked in, it was perfect. The atmosphere carried the calming fragrance of fully blossomed lavender, creating an ideal setting.
Following a nice picnic, we strolled along the paths amidst the lavender fields, pausing occasionally for some portrait shots. The experience was immensely enjoyable and calming, characterized by laughter, pleasant conversations (surprisingly, we attended the same high school – such a small world!), and moments of petting dogs. Jennifer also brought her parents who were incredibly kind!
We shot for about an hour, and as the sun was starting to head towards the horizon our shoot came to an end.
However, that golden hour glow gave us the perfect opportunity to finish off with a final family portrait amongst the lavender, with the soft evening sun filling the frame with warmth and atmosphere.
